About the Game

"Döner Bitte" is a short serious game prototype about everyday racism, belonging, and the challenges of building a life in a new community. You run your own döner shop at last, serving friendly regulars, curious newcomers, and people who don’t always welcome you.

As you take orders and keep the grill going, you navigate subtle biases, open hostility, and genuine moments of connection. The setting is inspired by the tragic murder of Ismail Yaşar, whose story reflects the real dangers and discrimination many people face.

Your goal is simple but meaningful: satisfy your customers, grow your business, and find your place in the community. A lighthearted surface with real-world weight, "Döner Bitte" invites players to reflect on empathy, integration, and the human stories behind the counter.
